PIXELISM
The artist has been inspired by the digital revolution.
Some of his work can be described as "pixelism": modern art form whereby digital art is painted on canvas.

Two different styles have been explored in these oil paintings:
-REALISM Subjects include actresses from the 1920s/1930s and figures from Greek Mythology and Roman History, thereby portraying the past in a modern way. Monochrome colours, often earth colours, have been used to create a sepia effect. - ABSTRACT The combination of drip/splash painting and energetic brush strokes are techniques inspired by the abstract expressionists of the 1940s/1950s.
